Jim moved today from Rush to RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale. He will be here as long as it takes to get off the vent so that he can then get to rehab. Jim still has mucous in his lungs that he needs to get out, but there is less. There is some feeling in Jim’s left hand!!!! Not able to move much, but he is feeling sensation. Very positive that there continues to be an improvement, even if it is slight.

Anne van Amerongen : Dear James, Hinsdale has a special place in my heart as that is where my children were born and raised. I traveled the Burlington railroad for many years back and forth to Chicago. While Hinsdale is not quite “in the country”, there are not many sirens screaming up and down streets out the window so hopefully you will have good night rests. Prayers, love for you, and a few hugs Anne van …………..
